Processing & Shipping

Order Processing

Standard Processing Time:

  • 4-6 business days (Most items): Relaxed Romance, Elite body Wave & Straight
  • 5-7 business days (Custom Lengths/ Textures): Kinky , Blissful Kinks, 30+ inches
  • 2-3 business days (Top Sellers): Raw Wavy, Raw Curly, Kinky Curly, Coily, Clearance Items, Standard Body Wave & Straight


Processing includes ordering, steam-processing (where applicable), international transit, inspection, washing, packaging, Post office drop-off, and payment clearance.
Processing time does not include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Please refer to estimated shipping dates on each product description before checking out.

While some orders may process faster, others might require additional days. Our commitment is to be fully transparent about the processing times for all orders.


Communication in Case of Delays:

If your order becomes delayed or is expected to encounter delays during processing, our team will promptly reach out to you. We value your satisfaction, and will discuss options with you to address any concerns that may arise.

Order Completion and Tracking Information:

Once your order has completed processing, you will receive a tracking number. Thereafter, your package will be dispatched to the designated courier for shipping. Tracking information will update to show acceptance by the courier. Please note that the tracking may not display movement for 12-24 hours, depending on the courier's schedule for package pick-ups.


Batch Shipping Notifications:
In cases where your order has to ship in batches (due to availability or space constraints), you will receive shipment notifications for each item. Rest assured, there are no additional charges for items that have to ship separately.

Appointment Planning:

Customers are responsible for planning around processing and delivery times. We are not responsible for orders that do not arrive in time for appointments or other scheduled events and occasions. Please take into account processing times, chosen delivery options, and potential delays.

Uncontrollable Delays:
Bank holds and shipment delays may occur, and unfortunately, these types of delays are beyond our control.

 

Recommended Lead Time:

When placing online orders, we suggest allowing ideally 2 weeks between the estimated delivery date and the date of your appointment.

Due to space constraints, on-hand inventory is limited, leading to most orders being treated as pre-orders shipped from our overseas factories. We maintain transparency by updating you on your order's transit status and providing tracking information. In case of significant delays, we'll email you to discuss options, potentially pulling your order from on-hand inventory at no extra cost.

Expedited services are available for an additional $25, reducing processing to 1/2 days, pending product availability. Custom/pre-order items, including wig constructions, lace customizations, and custom textures, cannot be expedited for quality assurance.

Shipment

Shipping Methods:

We offer various shipping methods, including standard, expedited, and express options. Shipping costs and delivery times are calculated based on your selected shipping method and location.

Currently courier options are:

  • United States Postal Service Ground Advantage (2-5 days).
  • United States Postal Service Priority Mail (1-3 days).
  • Priority Express (1-2 days guaranteed).
  • UPS Ground (1-5 days).
  • UPS Air (2 days).
    • Note: Tri-state area typically receives their package next day with any shipmet option.

Signature Requirements:

All first and second-time buyers will require a signature upon delivery.
Shipping and billing addresses may differ but will require a signature. We will not ship to PO boxes.

International orders:

Customs and Duties:
Orders shipped outside of the U.S. will be subject to customs fees or duties. These fees are not included in the price of goods purchased from our website and are not included in the cost associated with shipping. These fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. To assist, we decrease the package value by 70%. For instance, a $500 order will declare $150. Your package will be subject to holding with the potential of being returned to the sender if the fees are not paid for its release. Please consult with your local customs agency for more information prior to ordering.

Refused International Packages:
International orders refused at the time of delivery for any reason are still subject to customs fees and duties. Any fees imposed upon Exxtended Image will be deducted from your credit.

Exxtended Image and the courier services have no control over delays caused by import and export customs inspections. Unfortunately, from past experience, these types of delays have to be waited out.

Shipping Methods:

The United States Postal Service (USPS) adheres to a federal holiday structure, during which Post Office buildings remain closed, and shipping services are temporarily unavailable. Since postal holidays may differ from banks, local government holidays, and even other courier, make sure to take note of the following and plan your shipping needs around them.

The estimated shipping dates, listed on each product, does not take into account Holidays.

Exxtended Image (Formerly: Embellished Kinks) explicitly states that it is not responsible for:

(1) Packages sent to an incorrect address or unable to be delivered.

It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure the correct shipping address is entered during checkout. Despite our efforts to expedite processing and shipping, there is a minimal time gap for cancellations. Exxtended Image cannot be held accountable for packages showing delivery to the address submitted with the order. In the event of a return to our warehouse, items will be restocked, and the buyer will receive a refund in the form of store credit, minus the original shipping and return shipment costs.

(2) Any delays in deliveries, lost, or stolen packages once tracking has been updated to accepted by the courier.

If tracking indicates a discrepancy or loss, the buyer is advised to contact USPS or UPS directly, as they likely possess more information to resolve the issue by locating the package. Should problems persist, contacting Exxtended Image allows us to expedite the recovery process. We can initiate a trace with the courier and commence an investigation, a procedure lasting up to 8-10 business days. If it is determined that the shipment is lost in transit, a replacement may be sent pending the investigation's conclusion. However, Exxtended Image cannot send a replacement or issue a refund once the delivery has been confirmed.
